Tips for Work at Home Moms- Blog Carnival

This week, we have hosted a blog carnival for Tips for Work at Home Moms. Thanks to those that shared the great tips.

The Day of a Mom's tip for WAHM's is to watch your time on the computer. This is a important part to consider when you are working at home. If you are working at home to have more free time, make sure you are spending the time with your kids!

Rob Moshe with Purpose Realized shared his tip for WAHM's to Live Your Best Life By Serving Others. We should all remember to give more than we receive. He is dedicated to helping others reach their goals and dreams. Check out his blog for more information on Project 500.

Rebecca Dean at her Miss Copy Blog, gave tips for Researching 5 Times Faster. The faster you read, the faster you research. This will help increase the time you need on money making tasks and less time on tasks that are needed, but not bringing in the dollars.

If you have a tip for work at home moms, share it here in our comment section. We all want to be more efficient and more successful in our work at home careers.

Working Online in South America

Some of you know that my family and I are in Peru for the next 5 weeks doing some missions work.

We rented our primary home as a vacation rental for snowbirds, set up my husbands job to telecommute, rented a house in Peru, packed all the homeschool materials and are now living south of the border.

Thanks to technology, I am able to stay connected, with friends and family as well as keep up with business while abroad. Gotta love the Internet-)

Thankful Tuesday's

Today I am thankful that we live close to my husband's grandpa; Lilly's great grandpa! Growing up I was only close to one grandpa and he lived in IL while we were in FL. We only got to see my grandparents maybe once or twice a year and it was sad that they missed so much of our growing years.

Since both of my grandpas passed away years ago, I have adopted Carl's grandpa as my own! He is just the neatest man with a great sense of humor and is always willing to help! And Lilly is rather attached to him as well. Grandpa lives right next door to us and so we will often go and visit him during the day! This morning, though, Lilly decided to eat breakfast with him. Without my knowing, she marched over to his house and told him she was hungry. I quickly figured out where she was, although I hate her walking over by herself. We live on acreage, though, so there are no fears of cars or strangers...just gators in the pond!!

I am so thankful that grandpa is right next door and is so welcoming to us. I think it's so special that she will grow up knowing him and spending time with him!! To see a few pics of them together and in action, visit Lilly's blog!

Baby Shower Fun

As you know by now, I’m very pregnant and fellow smart mom, Betsy is as well. We are both excited about the upcoming events as our families grow! Betsy is due to have a little boy and I'm having another girl.

This Saturday was my baby shower and Betsy and Rebekah were kind enough to drive over from the middle of the state (Florida) to the beach to help me celebrate!

Since so many of you have asked...here's a picture of the 4FabMoms and the "glowing" mommies to be!
