All moms are "work at home moms"

We certainly know that all moms are work at home moms. You work 24/7 without any holidays or breaks, if you are lucky, some may get a few days or nights away. But even then, you are never done! Your children are never off your mind, probably until the end of time. I am working on year 6 of motherhood and mine are NEVER out of my thoughts, even if I get to go away for a day or two.

Even if we could be paid that, most of us would never replace the love with the money. There are days when we are thankful that someone took notice, but the little kisses and big hugs are PRICELESS.

What's your wimp factor?

I admit it, I am a total wimp! I hate being cold. I had no idea that Peruvian summers would be so rainy and so cold. We have not had any sun for over a week, which means with a solar hot water heater, there is NO HOT water. I have had so much tea in the last week,in order to warm up, I think I will float back to the states.

This has been a fun experience and we have seen and done so many interesteing things, but I am ready to get back to the heat of Florida.

Thankful Tuesday's

Today I am thankful for fab mom, Kim! Several months ago Kim challenged the rest of us fab moms to an ebay contest. The idea was simple: who could sell the most on ebay in a month. Before the contest I had been wanting to sell my "treasures" on ebay, but had been procrastinating because I didn't know how to do it. The contest gave me an incentive to learn and I haven't been the same since!

Thanks to the contest, I have now listed and sold over 100 items. The best news, though, is that I am slowly cleaning out my house and making money while doing it! And since baby #2 is quickly approaching, I have been really busy lately trying to clean out the house!

So, thanks Kim and to the other fab moms for getting my butt in gear!!

Kid Friendly Fun !

My 3 year old received the coolest Christmas gift from my in-laws, a kid friendly digital camera. She has been snapping pictures ever since and I love to see her young “artistic” perspective. Some of the shots are fantastic and others are quite blurry. She still doesn’t have the timing down consistently, but that’s the beauty of it being ‘her’ camera. She can have a ball taking pictures of whatever. There are lots of me (very pregnant) and her daddy but here are a few of my favs – at least the ones that aren’t too blurry from her jiggling the camera.
